BRINGING HOPE TO WAKISO, UGANDA

A partnership between
Grand Traverse and Wakiso, Uganda

Grand Traverse 4 Uganda is a partnership of Grand Traverse Area churches and the Wakiso District of Uganda, which includes Kampala, the capital city of Uganda. The need is great in Uganda: for clean water, safe communities, education, and mostly, the hope of salvation in Jesus Christ. Grand Traverse 4 Uganda is making a difference, one well, one community, and one program at a time.

Wells

When a community lacks access to safe, local drinking water, every life is put at risk. Clean water has the power to transform a community for generations. It brings health, safety, and dignity, creating a stronger sense of belonging within a village. With your support, Grand Traverse 4 Uganda can dig an average of three wells each year and ensure they remain free and accessible to everyone in the community.

Your giving supports the ministry of Godfrey SSimbwa. His primary calling is to reach the people of Uganda, and to do that, he goes to the people, wherever the people are. He ministers to kids in school, mechanics, seamstresses, kids playing soccer, and those living in the slums. Additionally, he and his wife, Eunice, set an example of what a healthy family looks like, and offer clinics for young moms on basic hygeine, parenting, and baby care.
