PRAYER REQUESTS

-​We continue to ask for monthly prayers and financial support for our mission, mission leader(Godfrey) and mission team.
-We are blessed to share that we have 7 operating water wells in Uganda. Many thanks for support and God's miracle within 3 years of planning.
-We pray and ask for financial support as we hope to provide commercial sewing machines for the women of Uganda. Our goal is to have 10, which includes one at each well location.
-We are pleased to announce that we have blessed with the needed transportation of a van!! Just a few more upgrades and Godfrey will have possession.


Ephesians 2:10 For we are God's handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

Grand Traverse County Makes a Difference 

Grand Traverse 4 Uganda is a partnership of churches, businesses, and individuals to ensure rural Waskiso, Uganda has access to clean water, adequate food, community health, Bible studies, and economic self-reliance.

Godfrey and Eunice
We are pleased and grateful to announce the engagement of Godfrey to Eunice. May God bless them throughout their engagement process.

Current Projects

Transportation

NEED
In August of 2023, the van that Godfrey had, was stolen. We have a prayer request and are in financial need to raise funds in order to replace his needed transportation.

Wells

As of the end of 2022, there are 4 functioning wells and the momentum is growing!! We have a praise report that 3 more are coming in 2023-2024!! Our ministry has been approved for a grant in order to start construction on wells for a school, and two villages. Praise God!!

Director Needs

To continue to serve the people of Waskiso, the director needs ongoing support. Godfrey is God's executive!! His ministry and God's word is reaching thousands.

Our Director

Godfrey Kaggwa SSimbwa knows the cultures of both Grand Traverse County, MI and Uganda. He worked and volunteered in Michigan for fifteen years before returning to Waskiso, Uganda in 2019 to serve the needs of the community in this rural village.
